Serving Huntsville With Our Gift Baskets
My roots started in St. Louis, Missouri and I spent a majority of my adult life there. I received my associates degree in Accounting, met my husband in 1990 and married in 1992. In 1994 our son was born and I quit work to stay at home and raise him. In 1997 my husband’s job transferred us to Huntsville, Alabama. From the time I was about 16, I had this desire to own my own business but always looked for family to join me in this venture with no luck. In 2000 I made a gift basket for my dad for Christmas. It was from that gift and many conversations that my dad suggested I start a gift basket business. The Perfect Gift was born in January 2001. With the support of my husband, son and extended family, we have been blessed to be in business for 20 years.
I love being able to create a gift that makes the recipient feel appreciated and loved. Behind every design we take pride in producing a product that includes items specific for the occasion or the personality of the person receiving the gift. This includes our corporate customers who wish to thank their clients for their business. Our gifts when designed are made to represent our client not us and we do this by including ad specialty items, personal interests’ items, and imprinted ribbon with the company logo if desired.
We continue our education by attending conventions for the gift industry and markets to keep up with the latest trends and to look for new food items. We taste each item that goes into our gift baskets and look for the best quality product available. I am a national award winning designer and because of my education and competition experiences, our attention to detail helps us better meet our customers needs.
